Abstract

Peasant and native cultures have a deep, complex, and long relationship with agricultural and forestry diversities in Mexico. Emergencies of the above are agrosilvicultures, which articulate agricultural, silvicultural, and cultural diversity at the intraspecific, interspecific, systemic, community, and territorial levels. The cultures with which academies, institutions, and social organizations interact with agroforestry diversities through studies, public policies, and actions that affect the territories are expressions of agrosilvicultures. Agrosilvocultoriety is a relational approach of wisdoms, affectivities, and actions, among this different agrosilvicultures, and aspire to the co-creation of knowledge, disposition of skills, recognition of affectivities, interests, and desires in common to address the problematic situations that afflict and hurt us as a society. This document emphasizes the transformation and intensification of agrosilvicultural systems in the Tehuacán Valley, Puebla, Mexico. Their escalation of this situation is due to the introduction and intensification of mezcal and pulque agave crops. The general question is: How can a relational model be built between the cultures of peasants, academics, students, social organizations, and government agents who participate in understand these problematic situations, and propose solutions? This article presents the proposal of the relational model of agrosilvocultoriety lived in an experience by Academic UNAM, in conjunction with the organization of agrosilvicultores of Sauane Katchu, the Tehuacán Cuicatlán Biosphere Reserve Direction, governmental and international organizations and civil associations in the semiarid territories of the Tehuacán Valley, Puebla, Mexico.
